Free online tools without the upload
Most "free" online converters work the same way: you upload a file, it is processed on someone
else's server, and you download the result — hoping the original is deleted afterwards.
Uttily takes the opposite approach. Every tool on every Uttily site runs inside your
own web browser. Your PDF, photo, video or spreadsheet is read straight from your disk into the
page, processed with JavaScript, the Canvas API and WebAssembly, and saved back to your device.
It never travels across the internet, so there is nothing to intercept, store or leak.
That design is also why the tools feel fast. There is no upload progress bar and no queue on a
busy server — the work starts the moment you drop a file, using the processor in your own laptop
or phone. Heavy jobs such as video conversion, OCR and background removal use the same
WebAssembly engines that desktop apps rely on, compiled to run in the browser.
One collection, many focused sites
Instead of a single bloated app, Uttily is split into 29 focused sites.
PDF Tools merges, splits and compresses documents;
Image Tools resizes, converts and removes backgrounds;
Media Tools converts audio and video;
Dev Tools formats JSON, YAML, SQL and more; and
Calc Tools covers everyday calculators. Each site only loads
the code its tools need, which keeps pages light and quick on slow connections.
Free, private and ready when you are
You never need an account, and there are no watermarks or daily limits. Every site can be
installed as a web app and keeps working offline after your first visit, which makes it handy on
flights or unreliable Wi-Fi. Guides are available in 11 languages, and the
project is supported by light advertising rather than by selling your data.
